Terms for reserving a week, and what is not for sale here

Written to be read once and understood. Below: the shape of the company, the things it will not touch, and where your money actually goes.

The company you would be dealing with

Cedar Passage Bookings LLC operates under the name Cedar Passage from 2100 3rd Avenue North, Suite 440, Birmingham, AL 35203. It is an independent booking office. The office holds no rooms, no cars and no seats of its own, and the company running the week you choose is named to you in writing before you commit.

This is an agency and nothing else: it flies nobody, houses nobody, drives nobody and runs no trips of its own under any name. This office is an independent travel agency. It is not a tour operator, an airline, a hotel or a booking site, it takes no payment and holds no card details, and it gives no advice on entry documents or insurance.

What the money does and does not cover

Nothing on this page holds anything. A week is held when the supplier writes to you and you write back, and not one moment before that. Not a cent moves through here. The supplier bills you under its own name, and what this office earns reaches it from that supplier weeks later.

Nothing physical changes hands here, so shipping and delivery simply do not arise. Nor does a checkout: there is no card field anywhere in this site and nothing of yours is stored. That puts refunds outside this office entirely. Money that comes back to you comes back from whichever supplier invoiced you, on the terms that supplier sent, and the page about pulling out describes the usual pattern.

Read the figures as floors: an amount in United States dollars for two people sharing, which the supplier confirms in writing before a cent is owed. Until that confirmation exists, a figure here is a description and not an offer anybody can accept.

What is not for sale here

The office does not sell or advise on insurance, entry documents or anything a consulate or a lawyer would properly handle, and will say so rather than guess.

Getting to the country and home again is the traveller's own arrangement; this office puts nothing in the air and nothing on the water, and signs with no carrier at all.

Memberships, schemes and clubs are not sold here in any form, and no joining fee is charged, because charging one would drop this office into a wholly different statute. Prize draws and competitions do not run either. And no week on this site is described as cheaper, better or faster than another week, on this site or anywhere else.

Where every statement here is shown

Take any sentence on this site and something else here will show you it is true. Figures: the page about what a change costs, and the line beside each of the thirty. Distances: the page about how far from the shape. Money returned: the page about pulling out. Independence: the foot of whatever page you are on.

You will find no reviews, no ratings, no awards and no counters, for the straightforward reason that none of them could be checked. Where a week leans on weather or on a season, the page states that in words instead of promising you an outcome.
